Il sistema della puntate al texas hold’em poker, o poker alla texana, è sostanzialmente diviso in gioco limit e gioco no-limit. Nel primo caso il sistema delle puntate
è vincolato a un preciso e rigoroso schema, mentre nel texas hold’em no
limit il giocatore è libero di puntare quanto vuole, compresi i famosi all-in.
Poker alla texana limit
Nel poker alla texana limit, il nome del gioco stesso indica la stessa entità delle puntate. Nel texas hold’me poker ‘$1/2 lomit’ l’entità delle puntate è di 1 o 2 dollari ad esempio. La puntata di base è 1 dollaro e il rilancio può essere solo di 2.
Ciò significa che la puntata minima è cosi regolata a seconda delle fasi di gioco:
- Pre-flop (prima the flop): $1
- Al flop (prime tre carte sul tavolo): $1
- On the turn (quarta carta sul tavolo): $2
- On the river (quinta carta sul tavolo): $2
I rialzi e puntate invece sono eseguibili solo fino a un massimo di 4 volte la posta di ingresso, secondo questa struttura:
- Pre-flop: $1, $2, $3 fino a $4
- Al flop: $1, $2, $3 fino a $4
- Al turn: $2, $4, $6 fino a $8
- Al river: $2, $4, $6 fino a $8
Poker alla texana no limit
Nel texas hold’em poker no limit il sistema delle puntate è libero,
con l’eccezione del rispetto dei minimi. Ovvero il doppio della posta
di ingresso. Se l’apertura è di $10 non si potrà rialzare a meno di
$20. Il massimo invece non esiste, compreso il famoso all-in.
Del poker alla texana no limit esiste poi la variante del texas holdem pot-limit,
in cui la puntata massima non può superare il valore complessivo del
piatto in quel momento sul tavolo (comprensivo quindi di eventuali
rilanci precedenti).

We have to have 5 diverse characters (so far I have a brunette young woman who is a musician from NJ) and they are going on a pilgrimage to NYC.
