Non esiste una via facile per diventare degli esperti giocatori di poker. L’esperienza è tutto, ma vi sono una serie di comportamenti errati, specialmente tra i giocatori meno esperti che è opportuno sottolineare. Il comportamento errato più ricorrente in chi gioca a poker è quello di giocare troppe mani. Il poker alla texana deve essere giocato solo quando si è in possesso di carte con buone possibilità di gioco. Le altre vanno passate. Anche se son tante mani di fila. Sempre. Il succo del poker è solo giocare le mani con possibilità di vincere. Può essere noioso talvolta, ma è vincente!
Un altro comune errore è quello di sopravvalutare carte dello stesso seme (suited). Sia per il colore (6% di probabilità al flop) anche per le scale. Spesso questo tipo di carte son facilmente battute da coppie e spesso conducono a una disperata e insensata ricerca della giocata al river e turn imbarcandosi in avventure folli.
I giocatori inesperti mancano dello studio dell’avversario. Anche giocando online è facile riconoscere giocatori più accorti daquelli meno esperti. Giocate contro chi fa facilmente errori. Evitate i giocatori più competitivi, o comunque tenetene conto durante il gioco.
Mai lasciar trasparire le proprie emozioni. E’ meglio comportarsi in modo freddo e naturale. I giocatori più esperti riescono ad indovinare un bluff vero da uno finto a seconda dell’intervallo che ci mettete a rilanciare. I vostri comportamenti parlano di voi. Fatevi conoscere il meno possibile!
