Se il torneo di poker è un gioco di situazione, si deve conoscere al meglio come giocare nelle varie situaizoni, come in quelle del buio. Una delle prime cose da tenere in conto quando si gioca un torneo di Texas hold’em poker dalla posizione del buio, è che non bisogna legarsi troppo al tentativo di vincere i bui, specialmente all’inizio del torneo. Il vantaggio economico di portarsi a casa il valore dei bui, contando che all’inizio del torneo sono di poco valore, è molto scarso in confronto alle possibilitá di perdere la mano rischiando alte somme di danaro.
Altro discorso quando invece il torneo è in fase avanzata e il valore dei bui è aumentato. In questi casi sarà si da valutare la possibilitá di andare a vedere un call o addirittura di cercare di vincere la mano facendo un re-raise a un precedente rialzo. Naturalmente valutando le carte che si hanno in mano! E’ allo stesso tempo da dire che, indipendentemente dal livello dei bui e dall’entità delle fiches in gioco, quando si hanno in mano carte marginali, è decisamente meglio desistere. Specialmente se vi è stato un rilancio dalle early positions.
La strategia migliore per portarsi a casa i bui, è quella quando un giocatore precedente effettua un rilancio e abbiamo in mano carte buone (dall’A-9 e migliori). Qui è chiaramente da valutare anche il tipo di giocatore al tavolo del poker. Se è un giocatore ultra-chiuso ed effettua un rilancio, magari vuol dire che ha ottime carte. Conviene non rischiare. Altrimenti, conviene pensare bene al valore delle fiches con cui rilanciare. E per farlo, si deve guardare al proprio bankroll e quello dell’avversario, mettendo un sufficiente valore di fiches che faccia pensare che si hanno ottime carte.
Non conviene andare in all-in. Questo perchè il vostro avversario potrebbe avere delle carte mostruose. Voi non lo sapete, ancora, e quindi, perchè rischiare tutto il vostro bankroll? Con possibilitá di uscire dal torneo? Prima di lanciarsi in tornei con soldi veri, comunque, conviene farsi una bella esperienza coi giochi di poker gratis, con fiches senza valore reale. Li si che potete azzardate ogni strategia senza rimanere in maniche di camicia.
